CCSD is proud to highlight a recent publication written by the CCSD Fellow Weam Ghabbash.
Weam is a social sciences researcher with over a decade of civil society and human rights experience across the MENA region and Southeast Asia. Her work focuses on the intersection of feminism, displacement, and social justice in (post-)conflict contexts.
Her latest article, Decentralisation in Post-war Syria: Perspectives from Youth ِActive in Civil Society is featured on 50 Shades of Federalism—one of the world’s leading digital platforms for accessible research and debate on governance.
By contributing to this platform, Weam joins a global roster of nearly 100 entries by renowned scholars, including John Kincaid, Michael Burgess, and Allison McCulloch. Her piece helps expand access to critical, context-sensitive insights for students, activists, and policy researchers alike.
