The Center for Civil Society and Democracy in Syria – Idleb Office, completed the first phase of a new project in Saraqeb town; ‘A Child’s Hug.’
Thirty Five children were trained to draw and use colors. The Training aimed at stimulating children’s imagination and getting them out of the psychological pressure that they experience due to the continues shelling and destruction of their city and their region, and the harmful images they see.
The project was announced through flyers distributed in Saraqeb city, and through direct invitations.
The Centre for Civil Society and Democracy offices in Saraqeb offered one its rooms to be used as training area for children. The kids received sketchbooks and simple tools that suit their ages, as well as gifts and colorful stories.
