The Center for Civil Society and Democracy believes that dialogue forums are powerful tools to bridge divides and strengthen inclusive, resilient communities—especially in Syria- a country worn down by dictatorship, conflict, and deep social fragmentation.
In 2024, we brought people together through 27 one-day dialogue forums, each rooted in a proven, three-part approach: thoughtful planning, inclusive facilitation, and sustained follow-up. These forums created space for genuine conversations that inspire understanding and spark community-led action.
This paper captures key lessons, successful practices, and inspiring stories from the ground—offering a glimpse into how dialogue can pave the way for unity and lasting change.
