Within the emergency local response campaign, #Together, the Center for Civil Society and Democracy (CCSD) continues to support its partners from local civil society organizations to increase their efforts and ability to respond to the needs of families affected by the earthquake in northwestern Syria and Turkey.
CCSD supported eight organizations, both Syrian and Turkish, in five governorates (Gaziantep, Adana, Hatay, Kilis, and Urfa) in Turkey to respond to the needs of families affected by the earthquake by providing basic needs including water, food, clothes, milk, blankets, food and health baskets, and dignity kits
As a result of our support our partner organizations were able to directly target 16,131 individuals in 4,012 affected families.
CCSD supported seven local Syrian civil society organizations in northwestern Syria (in nine geographical areas: Al-Atareb, Atmeh, Afrin, Jenderes , Hazra, Termanin, Abzimo, Harem and Kfar Takharim) to respond to the families affected by the earthquake by providing basic needs including water, food, clothes, milk, blankets, food, and dignity kits).
As a result of our support our partner civil society organizations were able to directly target 4,128 individuals in 1,869 families affected by the earthquake.

Center for Civil Society and Democracy (CCSD) continues to support civil society organizations to increase their role in the humanitarian response process and to meet basic humanitarian needs in the affected areas.
