Women for the Future of Syria

Program Vision

We envision that Syrian women will play a leading role in promoting security and stability in Syria, as
well as in the building of the state and society.

Program Objectives:

1.Strengthening the leadership role of Syrian women in building Syria and achieving peace by
establishing a common vision for the future of Syria which respects ethnic and religious differences
in each of the following fields: politics, economy, health, education, civil society, peace and security,
environment, media, art, culture.

2. Providing the Syrian women with skills that enhance their self-confidence, knowledge, teamwork,
discourse, dialogue and negotiation, problem-solving, planning and strategies.

3. Training Syrian women in the specialized skills required to fulfill these goals within the fields
mentioned above and according to their interests .

4. Networking with Syrian womens’ organizations as well as other regional and international groups
that are also focused on women’s issues.
