Mobilize your friends, family, colleagues and networks to call and tweet at the Russian and Iranian embassies in your country (contact info below). Tell them we demand that they:
- Require the UN investigation team to document and record the human rights violations that took place in Aleppo over the past three months.
- Make any and every effort to force a complete and sustainable ceasefire in Syria.
- Ensure the safe evacuation of all people who want to leave Eastern Aleppo.
- Create the mechanisms, which allow people in other besieged areas in Syria to have the option to stay in their homes without facing death, and starvation.
- Honor their commitments under UN Security Council Resolution 2254 and work toward a negotiated peace agreement that will guarantee a political transition in Syria.
Contact any local and national media outlets and ask them to focus coverage on the issue of civilian protection in Aleppo.
Join local demonstrations for besieged Aleppo – there are protests taking place in many cities around the world in front of Russian embassies and consulates.
If there is no demonstration, organize one – even a few people will send a message that the world is watching. Please share this with all of your contacts and on social media channels
