With our vision of achieving a just and sustainable peace for all Syrians, on the basis of UN Security Council Resolution 2254, the Center for Civil Society and Democracy (CCSD) reached these important key conclusions as inputs to be included in the Constitution and the Political Agreement. These were based on the dialogue forums that were held during September 2022, with equal participation by more than 80 Syrian civil society activists, women and men from several regions of Syria.

CCSD seeks to cooperate with the members of the Constitutional Committee and requests that these inputs (articles, principles and visions) be included in the future constitution of Syria.

Through this living document we also seek to influence Syrian parties, politicians and influencers of Syrian civil society to create a Syrian-Syrian dialogue, that includes the needs and aspirations of all Syrians and achieves consensus among Syrians on constitutional issues and rights, such Syrian civil society, Syrian national identity, the Syrian Governance Structure, and other issues and principles.
