After the start of the escalation campaign by the Syrian regime and Russia, The Syrian Civic Platform published updates for the situation in the Northwest of Syria from November through January 2020 and had updated the Syrian and international actors on the situation.
As these reports were monitored the humanitarian and field situation in Northwestern Syria in areas outside the control of the Regime in Idlib Governorate, South and West of Aleppo Governorate, Western Hama countryside, and Lattakia countryside, where the mentioned region inhabits more than 3.5 million people.
The Northwest is still suffering from shelling and war operations launched by the Regime forces and Russia, despite the announcement of a ceasefire on January 12, 2020.
